Instructions for removing the G DATA 365 | MXDR agent on Linux

To remove systems from the G DATA 365 | MXDR service, the Linux agent can be uninstalled independently. As soon as the agent is removed and the system no longer transfers data, the off-boarding is complete. The Linux agent can be uninstalled using a Linux package manager.

Uninstalling via DPKG

To uninstall the Linux agent on a Linux operating system using the DPKG package manager, the following command must be executed:

sudo dpkg --purge secmon

Uninstalling via RPM

To uninstall the Linux agent on a Linux operating system using the RPM package manager, the following command must be executed:

sudo rpm --erase secmon
