Add a contact to the emergency chain

In the event of a critical incident, the contacts in the emergency chain are called in the specified order (from top to bottom) until an emergency contact is reached.

In the G DATA Web Portal, open the 365 Managed XDR > Notifications window.

Switch to the Emergency chain tab.

Click on button.

Click in the name field.

  • Select a user from the pull-down menu

  • or write the name of the contact person into the field.

Authorized persons who can create contacts in this area see ALL users stored in the G DATA Web Portal in the selection, not just the users within the organisation units assigned to them.

Click in the Phone number field and enter the phone number of the contact.

Confirm your entries by clicking on the Save button.
