How can I ensure that a system is protected by G DATA 365 | MXDR?

A tray icon can be displayed on the agents. This tray icon is of an informative character, and indicates that the corresponding system is protected by G DATA 365 | MXDR.
Currently, no actions can be carried out via this tray icon.

You can enable the display of the tray icon via the management of the organisation units.

Exceptions

There are some constellations in which the tray icon is not displayed:

  • Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 & Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 Datacenter as terminal servers

  • Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 Datacenter by installation without GUI

  • Windows-Core-Server & Windows-Nano-Server

  • Citrix XenApp

Please note that, depending on the connection, the tray icon may not be displayed in Hyper-V environments.

If the tray icon is not displayed in the environment you are using, but you want to make sure that the system is protected, you can always check in Windows Security under "Virus & threat protection". If the G DATA Agent is shown here, your system is protected.
