G DATA 365 | Mail Protection
Exporting and importing the settings
It is possible to export or re-import the G DATA 365 | Mail Protection settings.
Export settings
You can also use the toggle switches to control whether you want to include the mail server settings and/or the filter and quarantine settings.
The export by default creates an unencrypted *.json file in your download directory. If you activate the "Encode result" switch, an encrypted *.enc file is created.
If you have activated the "Encrypt result" toggle, a secure password consisting of letters and numbers is shown on the screen. Make sure you remember this password! Without this password, the exported file cannot be imported again. For data protection reasons, it is also not stored in the G DATA Web-Portal. Screenshot |
