General

  • Improved scanning behavior to detect malware in mails.

  • Based on customer feedback, we have removed the tray icon animation when retrieving emails.

  • General performance improvement.

Improvements

  • An incompatibility within the G DATA Outlook Addon was fixed, which in rare cases caused Microsoft Outlook to crash.

Relevant only for the Total Security product

  • Due to technical reasons, the backup function of drives had to be removed. However, the possibility for local file backup remains.

  • The direct support of the Mozilla Firefox browser for the password manager via browser plugin is no longer available.

Relevant for the Products Internet Security and Total Security

  • For technical reasons, cloud backup is also removed.

  • Fixed a bug that caused scheduled backups not to be executed.
