Notifications about virus detection on terminal servers are displayed in all sessions
Problem Description
In the G DATA Administrator, in the Client object selection, Client Settings menu, within the submenu Monitor, in the File monitor settings, you can find the option to turn on and off user notifications when a virus is detected.
The default of this setting is switched on.
With version 15.3.0.777 or 15.4.0.51 installed, this notification is displayed on terminal servers in all sessions. This may cause uncertainty among users, because any files on the terminal server may be affected by a virus and the user may not be able to trace the origin of the message.
Solution
We recommend deselecting the checkbox Notify user when virus has been found.
