Installation of the iOS endpoints for the G DATA Mobile Device Management
Preliminary Information
This guide describes the necessary steps to add iOS devices to the G DATA Mobile Device Management.
In the first scenario, the administrator has the device to be installed locally. In the second scenario, the device is not accessible to the administrator.
In both cases, the administrator first determines for which profile (for MES partners also for which client) the device to be installed is intended and creates the corresponding QR code. Several devices can also be added at the same time, as the QR code created by the administrator does not contain any device-specific information. The QR code contains licence data, profile assignments and, if applicable, client information. In this way, all devices of a client with the same profile can be installed using the same QR code.
System requirement is iOS 15 or higher.
Please note the port overview and firewall rules and whitelist the necessary host if required! |
