Installing G DATA Exchange Mail Security
Before you start, make sure that the following conditions are met:

The G DATA Management Server has already established contact to our update servers (e.g. through a virus signature update) and the licence authorisation is available to G DATA Management Server.

You are logged in with an administrator for whom an active Exchange mailbox has been set up.

The Exchange Shell is ready to function.
The plugin should be installed on all Exchange servers running the Mailbox role or Hub transport role.

Download the installation file: Download. |

Start the setup (if not already done, unzip the file). |

Select G DATA Exchange Mail Security. |
4. |
Select the desired language. |

Select Installation. |
6. |
Accept the license agreement and click Next. |

Enter the hostname, IP or FQDN of the server where G DATA Management Server is located. |

Click Next. |

Now G DATA Exchange Mail Security should install itself and a corresponding item should appear in the G DATA Administrator object tree. |

Check in G DATA Administrator whether G DATA Exchange Mail Security still needs to be authorized. |
