G DATA Business Solutions: Reading out the PackageIDs of installation packages

Each installation package has a unique PackageID. If you need the IDs of your installation packages, the IDs can be read out with the following instructions.

Carry out the following steps for troubleshooting:

  1. Open a command prompt (cmd) with administrator privileges.

  2. Navigate to the G DATA Management Server program folder
    Standard:

    C:\Programme (x86)\G Data\G DATA AntiVirus ManagementServer

  3. Execute the following command:

    GData.Business.Server.Cli.exe listpackages

You will now find two files named PackageIds.txt and PackageIds.csv in the directory

C:\ProgramData\G Data\AntiVirus ManagementServer\InstallPackages.

These contain the PackageIDs.
