Object toolbar

Icon	Name	Function
	Update	Refresh the object tree.
	Expand/Reduce All	With one click, all groups of the object tree can be expanded or collapsed.
	Add group…	Create a new group in the object tree.
	Remove	Delete an element (group or client) from the object tree. ⚠ This deletes the record of the client from the database, including all settings of the element (for clients including their logs).
	Activate client	Create a new client in the object tree. ⚠ This function creates a record for the name or IP used in the G DATA Management Server database. This does not install the software on the client.
	Installation overview	Overview window of the installation processes and their status.
	Send installation link to mobile clients	Send installation link to mobile clients. This icon is only active if you have selected the Android group in the object tree.

Send installation link to mobile clients

Send installation link to mobile clients. This icon is only active if you have selected the Android group in the object tree.

	Remove	Delete a marked client from the object tree. Several clients can be marked from the list. ⚠ This deletes the record of the client from the database, including all settings of the element (for clients including their logs).
	Install client	Opens the client installation window.
	Uninstall client	Starts an uninstallation on the client as long as the G DATA Security Client still reports to G DATA Management Server. ⚠ Please do not start the uninstallation if the client no longer reports.
	Update virus database now	Speaks to the G DATA Security Client on port 7169 and asks it to load virus signatures now. ⚠ Please do not start this function if the G DATA Security Client no longer responds.
	Update virus database automatically	This icon selects whether or not the client should receive newer signatures from G DATA Management Server when it contacts G DATA Management Server. This icon also sets the corresponding check mark under Client Settings → General. If the check mark is set, the underline in the icon turns blue; if the function is switched off, there is no underline.
	Update program files now	Speaks to the client on port 7169 and requests it to perform a program update now. ⚠ Please do not start this function if the client no longer responds.

⚠ If you view reports for a period from…to (Set manually), this filter will remain. If you do not reset this after your review, you will not see the current reports. It is therefore better to select the period Only Start.

	Unauthorised clients	Display when new unauthorised clients have reported to the G DATA Management Server.

	Unauthorised Exchange Clients	ADisplay when new unauthorised G DATA Exchange Mail Security services have reported to the G DATA Management Server.
	Signatures	Display when the virus signatures available for distribution at the G DATA Management Server are not up to date.
	Program	Display if the program version of the G DATA Management Server is not up to date.
	G DATA Cloud connectivity	Display whether all relevant G DATA servers for the G DATA Management Server are reachable.
